I. Product Introduction
Beam racking is a widely used type of racking, with advantages such as stable structure, high load-bearing capacity, and convenient picking. The rack consists of load-bearing uprights and beams. The beams are connected to the uprights by a hanging method and are equipped with safety pins, which can be adjusted at intervals of 50/76mm. The uprights are connected to the ground with expansion bolts. The bottom layer of the rack is placed on the ground, and generally 2-3 pallets are placed on each layer. The beam length and upright depth are determined by the size of the pallet. The rack can be flexibly adapted to some safety or convenience components as needed, such as pallet stops, pallet backstops, wire mesh shelves, anti-collision corner guards, and connecting beams. Rack layouts are generally divided into standard aisle, narrow aisle (VNA), and double-deep, and are adapted to different forklifts. Due to the many aisles, the warehouse utilization rate is relatively low. Using a narrow aisle (VNA) or double-deep layout design can better avoid this drawback. Beam racking, with its unique inventory management capabilities and extremely convenient picking function, has become the preferred racking type for logistics companies and others.
II. Product Features
Beam racking is a professional warehouse rack designed for storing and retrieving palletized goods. It consists of uprights and beams, with a simple and reliable structure. Goods are placed on pallets and accessed by forklifts, making storage convenient and flexible; steel shelves, wooden boards, or wire mesh shelves can also be laid on the beams. Each layer can be freely adjusted in 75mm, 76.2mm, or 50mm increments. This racking system is a currently popular and economical form of racking, characterized by a large moment of inertia, strong layer load capacity, and strong impact resistance.
Heavy-duty racking features low cost, safety and reliability, and simple assembly and disassembly; suitable for manual access, with a standard effective load of 800kg or more per layer. Suitable for manual access of box-type goods, or for loading loose heavy goods with parts boxes or turnover boxes.
Commonly used in logistics, warehousing, etc.
III. Product Advantages
1. Fully assembled structure, freely combinable, convenient and flexible installation and disassembly.
2. The uprights are formed by hot-rolled plates folded at multiple angles, so the rack has a high load-bearing capacity.
3. The uprights are assembled, and the beams are connected to the uprights with steel buckles, and locked with safety pins to prevent falling off.
4. The uprights have adjustment holes every 75mm, which can be adjusted arbitrarily according to the height of the goods.
5. Suitable for stacking materials at high altitudes, making full use of warehouse space to achieve material classification management, and can be used with forklifts or stackers.
IV. Precautions
1. Prevent top-heavy loading in heavy-duty racking: The principle should be to place light goods on the upper layers and heavy goods on the lower layers.
2. Prevent overloading: The weight of each layer must not exceed the maximum load capacity of the rack.
3. Prevent impact: During operation, forklifts should be handled gently to prevent impact on the rack.
4. When there are goods above the rack, operators should not directly enter the bottom of the rack.
5. Prevent the use of non-standard platforms, pallets, etc., on the rack; a "川"-shaped bottom is most suitable.
When the rack height exceeds eight meters, corresponding loading and unloading machinery is required. Therefore, the total amount of aisle area required is relatively large, and the storage density is smaller than other systems. Heavy-duty storage racks can achieve fast access to various pallets, with a maximum unit shelf capacity of up to 2000KG, adapting to various types of pallets and racks. The height of the beams can be adjusted according to the size of the goods. High goods throughput, convenient and fast. Heavy-duty racking is low-cost and can be quickly installed and disassembled.
